SM Entertainment Releases Plans for 2024
The new sister of 5th generation Kpop group RIIZE is reportedly coming in the near future! SM Entertainment to release its new Kpop 5th generation girl group (SMNGG) around later this year.
On May 8, SM Entertainment released reports of their plans for the rest of this year. In the reports, the company once again mentioned updates on their upcoming girl group.
Previously, SM Entertainment claimed they would release a new Kpop girl group in 2023. However, due to unknown circumstances, the company eventually delayed the group’s release to this year.
According to the report, SM Entertainment had been planning on making exciting releases in the third and fourth quarters of 2024.
The third quarter will highlight the debut of Nævis, the previous guide to the virtual world of SM’s girl group, aespa.
Then, starting in the fourth quarter of this year, the giant entertainment company will be debuting 2 of its most exciting projects. The first project of SM Entertainment for the fourth quarter is the new 5th generation Kpop girl group. And the last project is a new British boy group as their collab project with the British entertainment company MOON&BACK.
SMNGG: SM Entertainment LARGEST New Kpop Girl Group After Girls’ Generation
As of today, no detailed information has been released about SM Entertainment’s new Kpop girl group (SMNGG). However, rumors have circulated that the new girl group will consist of approximately 8 members, making it SM’s largest girl group after Girls’ Generation.
Not only that, SM Entertainment has also previewed some of the new girl group’s members in @sment_training, an Instagram account dedicated to the company’s trainees. While some believe that it’s possible that dance prodigy Na Haeun will join the group, there’s no official statement announced by the company just yet.
