August 2024 Top Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed a staggering 53,691,527 big data entries related to Kpop boy group brands between July 10 and August 10, 2024. This analysis evaluated the participation, media, communication, and community indexes based on consumer behavior. Compared to the 49,547,539 big data entries from July, this marks an impressive increase of 8.36%.
According to the brand reputation analysis of Kpop male groups for August 2024, SEVENTEEN claimed the top spot, followed closely by BTS, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, and TWS, which dominated the top five positions. Check out the 30 most popular Kpop boy groups for June, July, and August listed below.

1. SEVENTEEN
Kpop male group SEVENTEEN returned to the top spot of boy group rankings this month with an impressive brand reputation index of 5,988,919. The group’s latest brand reputation index increased by 31.32% from the brand reputation index of 4,560,496 in July. Based on the analysis, the group obtained the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 257,081
- Media Index: 1,502,347
- Communication Index: 2,135,534
- Community Index: 2,093,957
Furthermore, in link analysis conducted by the institute, the group’s popular related terms were “release,” “reclaim,”and “donate.” In the keyword analysis, the group’s popular keywords were “Carat,” “unit,” and “world tour.”Additionally, in the positive-negative analysis, the group earned an impressive positive ratio of 90.94%.
2. BTS
BigHit’s male group BTS dropped to the second position in this month’s Kpop boy group rankings. The group’s brand reputation index fell by 10.34% from 5,555,349 in July to 4,980,992 in August. According to the analysis result by the institute, the group obtained the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 164,537
- Media Index: 1,602,423
- Communication Index: 1,677,212
- Community Index: 1,536,820
3. Stray Kids
Kpop boy band Stray Kids soared to the third position this month with a brand reputation index of 3,136,650. The group’s brand reputation index skyrocketed by 132.86% from 1,347,005 in July to 3,136,650 in August, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 216,460
- Media Index: 1,380,242
- Communication Index: 766,362
- Community Index: 773,587
4. ENHYPEN
Boy band ENHYPEN climbed from the fifth position last month to the fourth position this August with a brand reputation index of 2,973,333. The brand reputation index increased by 30.59% from 2,276,888 in July, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 183,991
- Media Index: 1,277,550
- Communication Index: 736,990
- Community Index: 774,802
5. TWS
Rookie group TWS completed the top five Kpop male group rankings this August with a brand reputation index of 2,741,433. The group’s brand reputation index rose by 29.24% from 2,121,187 in July, with the following indexes:

- Communication Index: 702,467
