TOP 100 Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings in August 2024

On August 17, the Korean Business Research Institute released the brand reputation rankings for individual male idols from Kpop groups for August. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo claimed the most popular Kpop male idol this month. Explore the complete list of the top 100 individual Kpop boy group member brand reputation rankings for August 2024.

The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed a total of 63,464,831 pieces of brand big data related to 730 individual Kpop boy group members from July 17 to August 17, 2024. Using this data, the institute determined the male idols’ brand reputation indexes through consumer behavior analysis. The analysis focused on key indexes such as participation, media, communication, and community indexes. However, compared to the 68,550,417 pieces of boy group brand big data collected in July, it shows a 7.42% decrease.

According to the analysis results, Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO topped the list. Moreover, BTS Jin, RIIZE Wonbin, BTS Jimin, and BTS Jungkook secured the second to fifth places, respectively. Below, you can explore the top 30 Kpop male idols in June, July, and August.

1. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo

The multi-talented male idol Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO, who recently captivated fans as the first pitcher at the NC Dinos vs. LG Twins baseball game, claimed the top spot of individual Kpop male idol rankings this month with an impressive brand reputation index of 3,668,606. Eunwoo’s brand reputation index increased by 49.34% from July’s index of 2,456,503, with the following indexes:

• Participation Index: 727,044
• Media Index: 775,468
• Communication Index: 841,104
• Community Index: 1,324,991

Further, in link analysis, the institute found the words “perfect,” “advertising,” and “pitching” as Cha Eun Woo’s popular related terms. Moreover, in keyword analysis, they identified the terms “Living in a Rented House in Finland,” “ambassador,” and “face genius” as the singer’s popular keywords. In addition, the idol achieved a remarkable positive score of 91.84% in the positive-negative analysis.

2. BTS Jin

Jin from BTS, who was recently appointed as the new Global Brand Ambassador for Gucci, dropped to the second position with a brand reputation index of 3,199,306. His brand reputation index experienced a decrease of 2.80% from July’s figure of 3,291,366. Based on the analysis, he achieved the following indices:

• Participation Index: 265,864
• Media Index: 654,978
• Communication Index: 700,953
• Community Index: 1,577,512

3. RIIZE Wonbin

Wonbin from RIIZE, who stunned fans with his bright and healthy bare face while showing them his skincare night routine, rose to the third position this month. The rookie male idol achieved a brand reputation index of 2,781,141, marking an impressive 36.66% increase from July’s figure of 2,035,151, with the following indexes:

• Media Index: 378,699
• Communication Index: 745,341
• Community Index: 1,238,402

4. BTS Jimin

Jimin from BTS secured the fourth place in the individual Kpop boy group member rankings this August. He recently made history with his latest solo single, “Who,” becoming the first Kpop solo song to spend its first three weeks in the top 25 of the Billboard Hot 100. The singer achieved a brand reputation index of 2,536,752, marking a remarkable 36.27% increase from July’s figure of 1,861,564, with the following indexes:

• Participation Index: 390,278
• Media Index: 375,293
• Communication Index: 830,640
• Community Index: 940,541

5. BTS Jungkook

Jungkook from BTS, who will launch his documentary “JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL” in 120+ countries, ranked fifth in the top five individual Kpop boy group member brand rankings. The idol achieved a brand reputation index of 2,108,194. The figure marked a significant 47.88% increase from July’s figure of 1,425,625, with the following indexes:

• Media Index: 130,906
• Communication Index: 879,154
• Community Index: 971,373
