October 2024: Top 50 Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute collected 65,526,355 brand big data from September 13 to October 13, 2024. Compared to 50,882,200 girl group brand big data in September, the number increased by 28.78 percent. Further, they conducted a consumer behavior analysis to obtain the female Kpop groups’ brand reputation indexes.
In the analysis, they measured the brand participation, media, communication, and community indexes. As a result, they will get the brand reputation rankings by arranging the group’s brand reputation indexes.
According to the analysis result, female groups LE SSERAFIM, aespa, IVE, BLACKPINK, and FIFTY FIFTY dominated the top five brand reputation rankings for Kpop girl groups in October 2024. Check out the 20 most popular Kpop female groups in August, September, and October below.

1. LE SSERAFIM
Kpop girl group LE SSERAFIM, which was recently nominated for Best New and Best Push at the 2024 MTV EMAs, ranked first. The group’s brand reputation index increased by 37.00 percent, rising from 3,567,430 in September to 4,887,479 in October. Here’s the breakdown:
- Participation Index: 164,016
- Media Index: 497,209
- Communication Index: 2,086,731
- Community Index: 2,139,523
Furthermore, the institute identified that the group’s highest-ranking related terms were “surpass,” “release,” and “prove.” Meanwhile, their popular keywords included “CRAZY,” “college festival,” and “career high.” In addition, the group earned a positive score of 90.82 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. aespa
Kpop girl group aespa, which surprised MY (aespa fans) with ‘aespa Special Digital Single: SYNK: PARALLEL LINE,’ featuring four solo songs by each member, fell to the second position. The group achieved a brand reputation index of 4,840,235 this month. Compared to the brand reputation index of 5,062,660 in September, it marked a decline of 4.39%. Based on the analysis results, here’s the breakdown:

- Media Index: 459,075
- Communication Index: 1,925,971
- Community Index: 2,332,789
3. IVE
Kpop girl group IVE, which will release “The First World Tour in Cinema” concert film this October 16, ranked third. The group’s brand reputation index rose by 29.83 percent, increasing from 3,608,799 in September to 4,685,474 in October. Here’s the breakdown:

- Media Index: 586,681
- Communication Index: 1,961,538
- Community Index: 1,965,146
4. BLACKPINK
YG’s girl group BLACKPINK, which is scheduled to make a full comeback as a group and embark on a world tour next year, rose to fourth place. The group gained an impressive increase of 87.67 percent, from 2,075,380 in September to 3,894,967 in October. Based on the analysis, here’s the breakdown:

5. FIFTY FIFTY
Kpop girl group FIFTY FIFTY, which finally returned as a five-member group in September 2024, soared to fifth place. Concluding the top five, the rookie group achieved a 178.20 percent increase, from 1,259,128 in September to 3,502,869 in October, with the following breakdown:
