The 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards 2024 Winners
The annual South Korean award ceremony, Blue Dragon Film Awards, organized by Sports Chosun, has conducted its 45th edition on November 29, 2024.
Actors Lee Je Hoon and Han Ji Min took the spotlight as the hosts of the prestigious ceremony, taking Kim Hye Soo’s role after she stepped down after 30 years. It took place at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, and the ceremony was broadcast live on KBS2 and KBS YouTube channels.
Previously, the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards 2024 nominees were announced on October 30. From 15 categories, the box office film “Exhuma” received 12 nominations.
This year’s two box office movies, “Exhuma” and “12.12: The Day,” won the most awards at the 25th Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2024. Each winner takes home four prestigious awards.
“12:12: The Day” won big by taking home Best Film, Best Actor (Hwang Jung Min), Best Editing, and Audience Choice Award for Most Popular Film. Meanwhile, “Exhuma” took home Best Director (Jang Jae Hyun), Best Actress (Kim Go Eun), Best Art Direction, and Best Cinematography and Lighting.
