On March 11, Sports Chosun reported that the actors Kwak Dong Yeon, Jung Jinyoung, and Kim Yoo Jung came to KBS New Hall to record the first episode of “The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile.”
Kwak Dong Yeon, Jung Jinyoung, Kim Yoo Jung, and Park Bo Gum gained fame for starring in the popular 2016 Kdrama “Love in the Moonlight.” Even though the project was completed 9 years ago, they maintain a close relationship.
In 2022, they reunited in the variety show, “Young Actors’ Retreat,” where they also met cast members from “Itaewon Class” and “The Sound of Magic.” Unfortunately, Chae Soo Bin did not appear to join them this time.
“The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile”
Previously, singers Jay Park, Choi Jung Hoon, AKMU, Lee Hyo Ri, Zico, and Lee Young Ji hosted “The Seasons” from the first to sixth seasons. This marks Park Bo Gum as the seventh MC and first actor to lead the show with a new subtitle, “The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile.” He reportedly chose “Cantabile,” which refers to his 2014 KBS2 musical drama “Naeil’s Cantabile.”
Although Park Bo Gum is famous for acting, he has consistently shown his passion for music. He has expressed his love for music through his appearances on music programs, song releases, OST participation, and musical performances.
Park Bo Gum is currently making waves with his performance in “When Life Gives You Tangerines.” Therefore, expectations are high for his ability to rejuvenate the show’s rating, which has struggled over the past two years. The appearance of his “Love in the Moonlight” co-stars is also anticipated to bring warm support for his new role.
