2025 MAMA AWARDS: Nominees, Voting Details, and Lineup
The MAMA AWARDS ceremony is a highlight reel of K-pop’s most talented artists. It celebrates the excellence in K-pop and symbolizes the genre’s global impact. This year, the event brings the theme “UH-HEUNG,” which embodies the joy and freedom that K-pop brings to fans worldwide.
Stars in the Spotlight
The 2025 MAMA AWARDS feature an impressive range of nominees, from rookie idols to the global K-pop icons like TWICE, aespa, G-Dragon, and BLACKPINK’s members. The list also includes K-pop groups such as SEVENTEEN and ENHYPEN, as well as BTS members Jin, J-Hope, RM, and V. Attendees will experience a memorable two-day evening. They will watch the exciting live performances of Stray Kids, ZEROBASEONE, and other exciting acts.
Categories and Voting
The awards will be presented across various categories. These include Best Artist, Best Group, Best Dance Performance, and the four grand prizes: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Worldwide Icon of the Year. Fans can participate by voting through Mnet Plus and X, with the final round featuring real-time votes.
Voting Criteria & Process
To win, artists can’t just have fans. They need the numbers, the judges, and momentum. Here’s how the 2025 judging works:
- Artist of the Year & Artist Categories: 40% judging panel + 30% digital (streaming + downloads; 20% Korea, 10% global) + 30% physical album sales
- Song of the Year / Genre Awards: 40% judging panel + 60% digital (40% Korea, 20% global)
- Album of the Year: 40% judging panel + 60% physical album sales (only albums that sold ≥ 1 million copies are eligible)
- Best Music Video & Best Choreography: 100% judging evaluation
- Fans’ Choice (Male / Female): Round 1 & Round 2: 90% Mnet Plus votes + 10% X (Twitter) votes per round
- Fans’ Choice of the Year: 90% Mnet Plus + 10% X + additional 10% real-time Mnet Plus votes

Fans vote via the Mnet Plus app and X (Twitter).
- Round 1: October 16 → October 26 (KST)
- Round 2 & Visa Fans’ Choice: October 30 → November 10 (KST)

The event will take place at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on November 28–29, starting at 18:30. Tickets are available in various categories, offering exclusive experiences for fans.
